Role of GoCar Egypt
GoCar Egypt acts as an online booking platform connecting customers with licensed local car rental companies in Egypt. The rental agreement is formed directly between you and the rental provider stated in your confirmation voucher.
Booking & Confirmation
All bookings must be completed through our website. After successful payment or reservation request, you will receive a confirmation email containing pickup details and supplier information. You are responsible for providing accurate personal and rental details during booking.
Payment & Deposit
Available payment options (debit card or cash) and required deposit amounts, if any, are shown during the booking process and may vary depending on the selected vehicle and supplier. Suppliers reserve the right to request additional documents or security depending on rental conditions.
Driver Requirements
You must present a valid driving license and passport at the time of pickup. Some rental providers may require an International Driving Permit depending on your country of origin. Minimum age, driving experience, and additional driver fees may apply according to supplier policies.
Insurance Coverage
Basic insurance is included in most rentals. Optional full coverage may be available at checkout or upon arrival. All details regarding insurance and liability are specified by the rental supplier.
Cancellation & Changes
Cancellation and modification policies depend on the selected car and supplier. Conditions are clearly displayed during booking. Some reservations may be non-refundable or subject to a cancellation fee.
Vehicle Use
Vehicles must be used responsibly and in accordance with Egyptian traffic laws. Off-road driving may require a 4×4 vehicle. Any fines, damages or violations incurred during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off
You must arrive at the pickup location on time with required documents. Late returns or missed pickups may result in additional charges as defined by the rental provider.
Liability
GoCar Egypt is not responsible for financial losses, disputes or issues arising directly between renters and suppliers. We ensure cooperation with trusted companies but cannot guarantee service beyond the supplier’s responsibility.
